臺中市政府消防局第五救災救護大隊后里分隊結合婦女宣導隊於108年8月11日舉辦「暑期消防營隊-小小消防員」活動，邀請小朋友們化身為小小消防員，體驗實際穿著消防衣，切身感受消防工作的辛苦，並著重於火災時如何應變、地震安全防護、防範一氧化碳中毒等，副市長楊瓊瓔也到場，盼寓教於樂，提升民眾安全，希望能透過這些小小消防員把防災自救的觀念散播至每個角落，讓災害及傷害降到最低。

The Houli Branch of the 5th Battalion and Houli female fire prevention team held the activity of fire prevention summer vacation camp – little fire men in August 11th, 2019. Lots of kids were here and turned into little firefighters and experienced wearing firefighting clothes to know and realize how difficult of being a fire man, such as fire disaster managing, earthquake safety actions, avoiding being poisoned by Carbon Monoxide (CO), etc. Deputy Mayor Yang, Chiung-Ying
also came in person, and she looked forward to educating through entertainment and raising people’s life safety and spraying these concepts to every corner of the city then we can minimize the disaster.

這次消防營活動於麗寶樂園舉辦，讓小朋友們於歡樂中學習，體現「玩中學、學中玩」的目的，不僅讓原本的防火宣導活動變得充滿歡笑，也使得小朋友們對內容更感興趣，自然也加深孩童們對於防災預防與逃生的基本概念，讓正確觀念自小便開始紮根。

This time the activity is held in LIHPAO Discovery Land. We try to let kids learn and play in a happy environment. It can not only make the activity funny and also interest these kids, furthermore they can know the correct concept of disaster prevention and escape from danger in their early childhood.

現場除了提供小小消防衣及消防車，讓小朋友變身小小消防員，認識消防勤務與防災知識外，亦提供了水帶瞄子、圓盤切割器、鏈鋸等器材，除了練習如何收拋水帶以外，也讓孩童們練習持瞄子射水，感受瞄子出水的後座力及重量；提破壞器材行動，感受臂力對消防員而言多麼重要；搬運假人，感受救人是多麼不容易，這些都為了使孩子們更貼近於消防生活。

We provided many things and tools for them in order to get ready being a little fire man, such as small firefighting clothes, fire hoses, fire nozzles, disk cutters, chainsaw cutting machines, and a real fire truck. They learned how to roll up and throw a fire hose, shoot with a fire nozzle, act with tools, and move a fake patient, etc. The kids do those all for the purpose of knowing and experiencing the true life of a fire man.

后里分隊的專業救助人員架設了水兵橫渡系統，第一讓孩子們知道利用繩索救助也是消防工作的一部份，第二同時讓他們了解繩索在於搶救人命上如何應用，第三透過實際上陣體驗操作繩索的樂趣，小朋友們也從中學習到強大的體能不僅僅是消防員必須具備的，還需輔以專業知識、技能才能相輔相成。

The professional fire fighters of Houli Branch set a long rope bridge in the square, and teach them many knowledge of that how to save people by using the rope well in the disaster site. The kids really understood that a fire man must maintain good physical strength and study kinds of skill and technique.

此次除了上述的消防體驗活動以外，在防火宣導方面分別針對火場應變技巧、地震安全防護、防範一氧化碳中毒、身上著火停躺滾、住宅用火災警報器應用、用火用電安全等6大主題，加強宣導。預防勝於搶救，唯有不斷的透過宣導傳遞正確知識以及防災觀念，才是減少災害發生的最佳手段。后里婦女宣導隊除了進行室內課程的宣導講解以外，也特別準備了濃煙機模擬火場煙霧瀰漫、伸手不見五指的情境，讓小朋友們不僅能吸收到豐富的知識外，也能透過實際體驗加深印象，牢記各種災害發生時的應變措施。

Not only fire rescue experience, they saw many expressions of fire prevention just like fire disaster managing, earthquake safety actions, avoiding being poisoned by Carbon Monoxide (CO), stop and roll your body over when on fire, fire alarm detector, fire and electricity using safety, etc. Prevention is better than rescue. It is the best method of reducing disaster happening that spray correct concept through prevention constantly. The Houli female fire prevention promotion team not only teach class inside the room, but also prepare many simulated sites outside. The kids must go into a smoky tent and see nothing inside, then learn how to get out from it in a correct way. They can learn much useful knowledge and get impressed experience by it, so can deal with managing in a disaster.

消防局特搜大隊搜救犬「鐵雄」、「腿腿」及「本丸」也共同參與，讓小朋友近距離目睹搜救犬英姿，了解搜救犬基本工作訓練，為活動增添不少人氣。

The rescue dogs Tei-Shown, Twei-Twei, and Ben-One also in this party. The children could see them in close range, and understand how the dog handler train the rescue dogs. This is a popular show in this activity.

暑期消防營隊宣導對象主要為6至12歲學童，活動設計簡單易懂、富趣味性，讓孩子們能在短短3小時消防營中，牢記各種防災科學及防火知識，建立災害預防及緊急應變觀念。我們相信將防火宣導的年齡層向下延伸，讓孩童們從小便建立好防火知識及避難觀念，定能有效將災害發生的機會降到最低，進而減少人命的傷亡及財產損失。

The major target of this summer fire prevention camp are children whose age is between 6 to 12. All activities are designed in an easy and interesting way to let kids can remember various kinds of knowledge of fire prevention and build correct managing concept in just 3 hours. We believe if we target at younger people and promote fire prevention and escape concept to them, the disaster will reduce exactly and people’s life and property will keep safe.
