2017年第17屆世界警政消防運動會於今年8月7日至16日在美國洛杉磯市舉行，內政部消防署特選派各消防機關7名優秀選手與來自70餘個國家的選手共同參與各項競賽，7名消防同仁共為我國拿下了12金14銀4銅的好成績，再度創歷屆參賽最佳成績記錄！
The 17th World Police and Fire game, WPFG was held in the duration of August 7th to 16th in Los Angeles in 2017. The National Fire Agency, Ministry of the Interior sent 7 outstanding players from various fire departments and agencies to participate in several competitions with more than 70 players from other countries. The 7 players won the 12 gold, 14 silver and 4 bronze medals, once again to break the record in the recent years.
本局第三救災救護大隊車籠埔分隊隊員詹家豪求學時期即為田徑好手，平日便常利用勤餘時間自我訓練，在獲選為公費參賽選手後，更是利用時間進行更嚴格而精實的自主訓練以加強體能及技能，終於在近萬名參賽選手中脫穎而出。
The firefighter Zhan Jia-Hao belong to the Chelungpu Branch, 3rd Battalion of Taichung City Fire Department was a excellent athletic player in his school time. He usually trained himself in his free time, especially when being picked the participant of WPFG he asked himself to carry out more rigorous and refined training to strengthen physical fitness and skills. Finally, he won the prize in nearly 10000 contestants.
詹員於本屆世界警政消防運動會成果豐碩，分別在田徑400公尺接力項目勇奪金牌，與個人100公尺短跑項目拿下銀牌，成績表現優異，為國爭光，也為本市及本局爭取了最高榮譽！
Zhan Jia-Hao gets a lot of awards in this time WFPG. He won the gold medal in the 4*100 meters relay race with his team and personal silver medal in the 100 meters race. He not only did great job but also claim glory for the Fire Department, Taichung City and Taiwan.
