臺中市政府消防局局長曾進財為中央警官學校消防系43期畢業（現為中央警察大學），經歷雲林縣警察局消防隊分隊長、臺中縣警察局消防警察隊副隊長、臺中縣消防局局長、臺中市政府消防局副局長等職務，將繼續與臺中市消防同仁共同奮鬥努力。

The Director-General of Taichung City Fire Department, TSENG CHIN-TSAI, is the 43rd Bachelor of Fire Science, Central Police University. His career experience includes Fire Brigade Team Leader of Yunlin County Police Department, Deputy Team Leader of Taichung County Police Bureau, and Deputy Director-General of Taichung City Fire Department. The Director-General TSENG wish to work hard and continue together with all the staff in the coming years.

曾局長於民國107年12月25日宣誓就職臺中市政府消防局局長後，積極在大臺中地區持續推動各項消防勤業務，未來工作願景如下：
一、建立廉能、專業、有效率之消防團隊，打造民眾安全生活無虞之環境。
二、強化本市民間救災團體與義消協勤能量，以有效降低災害損失。
三、建構本市完善消防安全防線，持續佈建新消防救災據點，並提昇消防同仁服勤之工作品質。
四、持續增補本市消防人員，邁向消防專業化及專責化，全方位提昇服務品質。
五、建立救災車輛裝備器材汰換機制，讓救災、救護更安心。
六、建立消防救災訓練與推演落實化，提昇救災之專業效能。
七、強化偏遠地區緊急救護技能，並加強辦理救護技術員訓練，提昇緊急救護工作品質及效能。
八、打造本市健全災害應變體系與應變力，以因應未來大規模災害發生。
九、落實消防安檢及防火管理制度，達到災前預防勝於搶救之目的。

After the Swearing-in Ceremony on December 25th, 2018, the Director-General TSENG actively continues to promote every fire service works, the visions include following:
1.Establish a credible, professional and efficient fire brigade to create an environment where people can live safely and peacefully.
2.Strengthen the coordination effort of the civil relief team and the volunteer fire brigade to effectively reduce disaster losses.
3.Build a perfect fire defense system in the city, continue to build new fire rescue bases, and improve the quality of firefighting service.
4.Continue to increase the firefighters in this city, move towards fire protection specialization & responsibility, and improve service quality in all aspects.
5.Establish a replacement mechanism for vehicles and equipment, so that all members can be safe in fire rescue and emergency medical service.
6.Carry out the firefighting and disaster rescue trainings and drills to enhance the professional competency and effectiveness of fire service.
7.Strengthen the emergency medical service skills in remote areas, provide the emergency medical service training programs, and improve the overall emergency medical service quality and effectiveness.
8.Create an emergency response and preparedness mechanism for the city in case of large-scale disasters that may happen in the future.
9.Fire inspection and fire prevention systems are carried out to achieve the purpose of "prevention is better than rescue".

臺中市政府消防局將在盧市長帶領下，以大臺中專業消防為基石，積極提昇消防同仁救災救護技術與技能，並妥善結合民間義消、救難團體等各項救災資源，以精實的消防團隊服務臺中市民，為打造一個更優質、更安全、更安心更好的臺中而努力。

Under the leadership of Mayor Lu, Taichung City Fire Department will be based on the professions of Taichung Fire Service and then help fire men improve their disaster rescue and emergency medical service skill and knowledge. Combining the energy of civil relief team and the one of volunteer fire team, serving the civil of Taichung City by an elite fire service crew. Working hard for Making a higher quality, much safer, and wonderful Taichung City.
